{Higueras: Fig trees}
CASA HIGUERAS Bed & Breakfast is our beautifully restored and extended Andalucian house that sits right on the edge of the village of Moclín overlooking the city of Granada and the Sierra Nevada. On a clear day we are able to see the Alhambra Palace in the distance. Facing the delightful street at the front, designated a picturesque corner, the integrity of the original 1850’s house has been preserved. At the rear, the property has been opened out to make the most of the breathtaking views.
Welcome to our home.

The House
We love welcoming visitors to both our home and our beautiful village. During the design and build of the property, careful thought was given to our own environmental impact, and the contribution we make to the locality. We have a very effective wood-burning stove that provides heating to the bedrooms and bathrooms during the winter months. Our hot water is generated by a highly efficient and cost-effective aero-thermic system.
During the build, and after, we have sourced products locally, and used local craftspeople, and it has always been our fundamental aim to give something tangible to the cultural heritage and community of this place we call home. We are creative people, both coming from varied art and design backgrounds. We are inspired by the rich history, culture, landscapes, art, music and the people surrounding us.
Guests can expect bedrooms and all guest areas to have been deep cleaned before every visit. Hand-sanitiser will be available in all bathrooms and we can provide free face masks for guests’ use. We will only be allowing one room to be used at any one time, and we do ask that you leave at least 24 hours between the last booking and the date when you’d like to start your own visit. This will give us time to ensure that the house is ready for you. If you have any doubts or concerns, please check with us before making your reservation.
